Many times, I wonder at the beauty of life -- the orangey, blue sunsets, green grapes on the vine, yellow grain rippling with the wind... Then randomly, the mouth watering smell of meat on the barbecue. Opportunity to meet with extended family, sharing experiences while munching on delicious berry pie.
Again, the many gifts and blessings we enjoy without a thought or whisper of thanks. Hands that reach out to clasp, embrace or encourage -- then exerting pressure to heal and hold.
Healing takes place in many, many ways and I am reminded of the cushioning, protective love of God's family.

The lakes, rivers, beaches, grains of sand which are all there for enjoyment and pleasure. Repair of mind and body merge when listening to water lapping against the dock, sea gulls gliding on the wind, breezes whistling through pine. The pulse of life, rhythm, ticking, throbbing and then release.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me.
Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.
But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33
Thursday comes and winding roads that lead to a familiar, yet foreign entity. The sterile, yet welcoming enclosures of desks, files and busy feet. Meeting those with answers, dates and plans. So, the cycle begins...blood work on Monday, medicines prescribed on Tuesday, then Wednesday, the next phase of chemotherapy. 18 weeks to go...yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel seen ahead. God laid the ground work -- and it is taking shape.
This final phase of cleaning the slate/body of remaining cancer cells will be a battle worth fighting! Am polishing the armour, sharpening the spear, and tightening the helmet! I am armed with the power that is eternally ready for victory!
"There is no weapon formed against me that will prosper" -- Isaiah 54:17
Yes, I am fighting the good fight and with the King at my side, I will succeed. Combat ready, there is no room for doubt or hesitation. The Word is a light unto my feet and will guide me forward in victory.
Thank you God for faithful guidance and courage to take the steps needed to win this war. Indeed, without You, I would be nothing!
God is faithful, ALL the time. Hugs
