Again, I am grateful for many things -- great health care here in Canada, loving friends and family who daily affirm God's faithfulness, plus those globally who pray without ceasing.
Bless you!
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28

Meanwhile, it is my JOY to sit in the warm sunshine, feel green, fresh grass slip through my toes, hear the birds chirping while happily eating at the feeders -- oh yah, summer has arrived! Does that ever make me happy!
Am loving the cuddles and wet kisses from grand babies as they pass by. So much life and conversation....exploring and discovering. Healing - yes, this is part of that. Parents, husband, children -- all soaking into my being and I cherish each breath of tenderness and love.
Many times I have shared that I am blessed. I am! This time slot of setting apart, aside and in semi-stillness is the crossroads where I am parked. There is a distance to go and yet much has passed by. God's hand, His merciful and gentle Hand in mine -- steer, guide and move me. I will finish this race!
Two weeks to go until my check up with the doctor and the next phase of treatment begin. Until then, let me soak in this pause, respite... lull. Every day and moment is to be savoured, inhaled, and revelled in. In times like these, there is gratitude for life itself.
"You honour me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will
pursue me all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalms 23: 5b-6

Thanks for keeping us up to date Colleen! Lots of prayers continue your way from Germany. Preached in Wolfsburg last sunday and had to answer lots of people concerning your wellbeing and that of the Church in Africa, Uganda especially. Be encouraged and thank you for your open heart in these difficult weeks and months!
ReplyDeleteColleen,
ReplyDeleteWe were so blessed by your testimony on Sunday, don't have the words to say how special it was - to hear from you in person!
Thanking you
Alfred and Arlene
